Project Description
Johnson-Laux managed the structural construction and installation of “HOME,” a captivating art installation at Tampa International Airport, designed to reflect on the concept of ‘home’ as it relates to both people and wildlife. The installation focuses on the flamingo, an iconic symbol of Florida. The exhibit features a larger-than-life flamingo sculpture towering over visitors. This sculpture is positioned to make viewers feel as if they are underwater, with light effects mimicking water ripples and changing with the daylight.
